Abstract

In the information era, with the rapid development of internet technology, various forms of slang continuously emerge. Elementary school students, who are in a critical learning phase, are highly curious about internet language. This survey report, based on questionnaire and field research, examines the extent of internet slang's influence on elementary school students and explores how they use it. Our research findings reveal that students exhibit preferences for specific types of internet slang, with online communication and daily conversations being their primary channels for learning and using internet language.
